Why the Tourist Offices?

When it comes to holidays, many people are reluctant to travel with their pets.
With this in mind, Troyes Tourist Office set up the Toutourisme club.
Les Sables d'Olonne Tourist Office has been a member since 2017, and the club is constantly evolving. The Vendée is well represented with 5 destinations.
We are working hard to ensure that your 4-legged friend receives a warm welcome and that you are informed of all the possibilities offered by the Destination for a carefree stay.

Do you want your dog to be the star of the doggies?

Take a photo of it in front of the displays or the doggie bar at our Tourist Offices in Les Sables d'Olonne.

Where should I sleep?

Our advice for a worry-free holiday:

As soon as you arrive, set up your pet's belongings in the room where he will initially stay to get his bearings.
Leave your pet a self-service bowl.
Take the time to reassure him and play with him to regain his serenity.
There are solutions to help your dog cope better with his departure - talk to your veterinary team.

The town of Les Sables d'Olonne has set up a number of initiatives in this direction:

263 free dog mess bag dispensers throughout the urban area.
Used bags must never be thrown into the gutters, as rainwater runs into the sea. There are plenty of bins for this purpose.
Regular poster campaigns remind dog owners of the rules of good manners.
