- From Paris (4h30) on the A11, via Le Mans (2h30), Angers on the A87 (1h30), Cholet, La Roche/Yon on the N160.
- From Bordeaux (3? hours) on the A10, via Saintes (2 hours) on the A837, La Rochelle (1? hours) on the D105 and D949.
- From Rouen (5h15) via the A13, via Caen (4h) via the A84, Rennes (2h15) via the N137, Nantes (1h15) via the A83, then the D763 and the N160.
Flying
You can easily fly to Les Sables d'Olonne thanks to the Sables d'Olonne aerodrome and the nearby airports of Nantes/Atlantique and La Rochelle/Île de Ré.
Tourist tax in Les Sables d'Olonne

The municipalities concerned are Les Sables d'Olonne, Île d'Olonne, Sainte-Foy, Saint-Mathurin and Vairé.
