On the water with the P'tit Natien

Experience the maritime adventure at the heart of the Vendée Globe from the deck of the P'tit Natien, a sturdy cruising boat piloted by its captain Kevin Cantin, which will be plying the bay to offer a different view of Les Sables d'Olonne. The ever-changing port areas, Port Olona and the Vendée Globe, a salute to the IMOCAS and a crossing of the legendary channel to approach the finish line of the race, an iodised escape and great epics to listen to, as if you were there!

With a little creativity and a lot of inspiration, young and old alike are invited to get their hands dirty and take part in the fun and nautical activities devised by enthusiastic volunteers.

Visit the Imoca of the heart

The first Initiatives-Coeur, helmed by Tanguy de Lamotte and then Samantha Davies, is opening wide, to the delight of all those who remain ashore. It's an opportunity to find out how the skipper's life is organised in these IMOCAS racing yachts, and to pay tribute to the charity Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, which saves the lives of children with heart malformations.

Titouan Lamazou "Under the stars" exhibition

Titouan Lamazou, the first winner of the Vendée Globe, is an artist who travels the world as a painter and draughtsman. His vagabond works capture faces and landscapes through the images and words that intertwine in his notebooks, on paper, on canvas or on the wall. Her recent work probes the mysteries of nature, oversized, fascinating and so fragile. From the Caribbean to the Marquesas Islands, the starry skies trace maps and bring back buried histories, revealing beneath their sublime and infinite beauty the care we must take with our landscapes.

Ready for a thrilling regatta? Captain Pic's 20 sailing boats are waiting for you. This is the time to discover the main principles of a race and the language of sailors, to sail close-hauled, broad-beamed or broad-beamed, using these boats with their colourful sails, each with its own colour. To the sound of the foghorn, off you go!

Take flight from the top of the three-masted ship

For all you daring sailors out there, the Tyrolean traverse at l'accrovoile will be holding out its ropes. At a height of 8 metres, you can follow the movements of the sailmakers on the tall ships, standing on the jib. At the sound of the bell, let's head for the vertiginous descent!

The cult Imoca on the pontoon!

Ecureuil d'Aquitaine II and Titouan Lamazou became legendary in 1990, as the winning couple in the very first Vendée Globe!

Saved by an intrepid Sablais solicitor, the IMOCA is now enthroned amongst her descendants, training new skippers and giving people the chance to experience the ultimate sensations during personalised trips around the bay.

On the pontoon, look out for the T-One-One, renamed in homage to Tabarly, the T, and to this boat, the first to leave the harbour and the first to return during the first edition of the race.
