After an enchanting interlude with Yvan Cassar on a piano-vocals tour acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, Louis Chedid is preparing to release a new album in autumn 2024, before touring again with a new musical line-up.

The quiet father of French chanson, Louis Chedid is nonetheless the author of some of the most incisive lyrics in the French repertoire. After only seven albums of success, Louis Chedid has established himself firmly in the musical landscape, each of his albums confirming his talent as a musician and, above all, as a lyricist.

A discreet poet, Louis Chedid describes, not without humour, the ills of his time and the malaise of his contemporaries, who are also his own.
