With its 6 hectares and exceptional facilities, the Pôle Equestre Vendéen is a true 4-star centre for thoroughbreds and other equidae.

The Communauté d'Agglomération des Sables d'Olonne boasts some of the finest equestrian facilities in western France.

The Centre and Pôle Equestre Vendéen site includes :
84 boxes in 4 blocks,
3 covered riding arenas, including 1 closed arena covering 4,750m2,
2 outdoor riding arenas, including 1 of 8400m2,
1 walker,
1 Havrincourt round pen,
2 sheds,
Numerous paddocks,
1 cross-country course,
as well as a club house and car parks.

Sessions for schoolchildren
Free introductory riding sessions are regularly organised for classes and pupils from the Sables d'Olonne urban area.

A pony club
The riding centre offers families and young people in the urban area a place where they can learn to ride, with qualified staff.

Stalls for hire and boarding
Horse owners can rent boxes and board their horses, while benefiting from the facilities for practising.

A top-level stable
Killian Rouchvarger is a member of the French pony team and the youth team on horseback, and is the title rider of a stable of excellence for top-level competition.

Regular hosting of equestrian events
The diversity and recognised quality of the site's facilities mean that it can host equestrian events and competitions, from departmental to national level, organised by the Friends of the Horse at Sainte Foy association.
