LES SABLES-D'OLONNE

Built in 1979, it is the leading marina in the Vendée. It is the stop-off point for many prestigious sailing events, including La Figaro, the Tour de France à la Voile, the Course Croisière des Ports Vendéens, Les Sables-Horta-Les Sables (class 40), Les Sables-Les Açores-Les Sables (class mini 6.50), the Solo Maître Coq, the Mini-Transat, the Golden Globe Race and the Vendée Va'a Polynesian pirogue race. Start of the next Vendée Globe on 10 November 2024!

Nearly 1,500 boats moor in the harbour.

Practical info :
Access at any time, in all weathers except winds South-East and South-West force 8 to 9 B.
Main alignment: 2 lights at 320° then 327°.
Channel dredged to 2m, N-S alternating current 1nd.
Hug the east bank of the channel.

Waiting anchorage in roadstead in fine weather, no mooring locker;
1 daily weather report (8.30am);
Free wifi internet access on the pontoons;
Fuel open with CB 24/24;
3 fuel pumps, 2 diesel, 1 super 95 unleaded;
Grey and black water skimmer on fuel pontoon.

No. 2 toilets from 7am to 10pm (included in the nightly rate).
Night toilets in the Club House opposite pontoon E (24/24h).
Codes available from the harbour office.

2 slipways, one of which is reserved for professionals.

Opening hours 7 days a week:
1 October to 30 April: 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm.
May/June/September: 8am-12pm and 2pm-7pm.
July/August: 7am-8pm.
