Maritime transport
When you say Sables d'Olonne, you say beach... And sea transport!There are three shuttle buses linking the Chaume district to the fishing port quay, the town centre and the Olona port in Les Sables d'Olonne. Shall we board?
- Journey time: quai René Guiné - La Chaume - quai René Guiné.
- Crossing time: 3 minutes (excluding embarkation and disembarkation)
- Route: Vendée Globe pontoon - Guiné quay (fishing port) - Prouteau quay (Port Olona).
- Crossing time: 5 to 10 minutes between each stop (excluding embarkation and disembarkation).
- Route: Les Sables d'Olonne sea base - large Chaume jetty.
- Crossing time: 4 minutes (excluding embarkation and disembarkation).
Tickets are on sale on board the shuttles, at the Tourist Offices, at the Tabac-Presse la Pibole and at the Town Hall.
Timetables vary according to the time of year and school holidays.

Whether you're wandering around the centre of Les Sables d'Olonne or catching the best waves at the beach, the Oléane bus network is your best ally!
There are 17 bus routes throughout the urban area, taking you wherever the wind takes you.
Go to the Tourist Office in Les Sables d'Olonne to get your tickets. Tickets are available individually (purchase directly on the bus) or as a pass.

From the Grande Plage car park (sea base) and the Tanchet beach car park, the town offers PRMs (People with Reduced Mobility) the chance to enjoy the pleasures of the deep blue sea.
With disabled access mats and bathing chairs, everyone can go to the beach here!
