Maison Palazzo Clementina 1919 - Le Remblai
The start of construction of the great seaside villas in Les Sables d'Olonne, first on the sea front and then to the district Dunes, back to the late nineteenth century.
A certain eclecticism is reflected in the seaside architecture sablaise, as evidenced by the cottage styles, regionalism néobasque, art deco or 1950s.
Local architects Charles Charrier (Palazzo Clementina) and Maurice Durand (Mirasol) are the authors of many seaside villas on the Remblai.
